Itinerary

Day 1: Canyon & Caves

Stop At: Sataplia Cave and Nature Reserve, Banoja, Kutaisi Georgia
The first stop of the tour is Sataplia Nature Reserve, where we visit footprints of dinosaurs and 300 m long cave.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Prometheus Cave, Kumistavi Georgia
The first stop is Prometheus cave that is 1,8 km long and is located 40 meters below sea level. In the cave there is a hall of love where people even get married. Here you can enjoy with underground boating.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Martvili Canyon, Martivili Georgia
At Martvili canyon we take a boat tour through the canyon and explore depth of it along waterfalls.

Day 2: Kutaisi-Mestia

Stop At: River Enguri, Zugdidi Georgia
The first stop is Enguri water dam that is the greatest water dam in Caucasus
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Hatsvali Ski Lift, 2PHM+QJM, Mestia, Georgia
Cable way goes from 1500 to 2300 m altitude. From the top there is amazing view on Ushba (4700-4710m) and Tetnuldi (4850m).

Stop At: Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography, A. Ioseliani 7, Mestia, Georgia
Next stop is Ethnographic museum of Svaneti. Here we see the ancient artefacts.

Day 3: Mestia-Ushguli-Kutaisi

Stop At: Ushguli, Ushguli, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region
Our first stop is tower of love that represents story of prohibited love. Afterwards we keep off-roading to Ushguli. Once we achieve Ushguli our vehicles are parked in the center. Guests have 3 hours to explore the ancient towers and churches.

Day 4: Kutaisi – Monasteries and wine

Stop At: Bagrati Cathedral, Bagrati Street, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
We drive up to Bagrati cathedral that overlooks the city. It was built in 11th century as a symbol of united Georgia.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Road to Gelati Monastery, Motsameta, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
Gelati monastery – complex of 12th century. There are 3 big churches, an academy, grave of David the builder, bell tower and houses of monks in the complex. It was built by the greatest Georgian King David The Builder.

Stop At: Motsameta Monastery, Tbilisi, Motsameta, Kutaisi 0172 Georgia
Motsameta monastery is related to story of tortured brother lords David and Constantine Mkheidze. It’s built on the cliff and is surrounded by the river from 3 sides. The nature and colors around monastery are amazing.

Stop At: Baia’s Wine, baia Abuladze Wine Cellar, Meore Obcha, Kutaisi 1000 Georgia
For lunch we visit family winery “Baia’s wine” located in Bagdati municipality, village Obcha. Firstly Baia and Gvantsa (Baia’s sister) show us vineyard that is just behind their house. Then we move to wine cellar to test several types of wines they have. They produce “Tsolikouri”, “Krakhuna”, “Aladasturi”, “Ojaleshi”, “Otskhanuri Sapere” and of course “Chacha”. Afterwards we sit around big table full of Georgian food. Their mom makes the most delicious Imereian food you’ll ever try.
