Lower Antelope Canyon from Sedona to Flagstaff


On this full-day tour, you will visit one of the most spectacular and less visited slot canyons in the Southwest. The day begins with a scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon (from Sedona) followed by views of Arizona’s highest mountain peaks. Your guide will share stories about the area’s history and geology along the way. Travel across the vast Navajo Nation and learn about the people and their land. Stop at Historic Cameron Trading Post with its extensive selection of souvenirs and Native American arts.
Mid-morning, you’ll have an opportunity to hike to the spectacular Horseshoe Bend overlook (1.5 mi / 2.4 km r/t) where the Colorado River meanders far below. Afterward, enjoy an included lunch followed by views of Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. The highlight of the trip is a 1-mile Navajo guided visit into Lower Antelope Canyon. Descend into the canyon via a series of steel staircases and walkways and then wind through narrow passageways as you learn about the area from your guide.
