Argostoli Trip Overview
We begin our day from Argostoli and make our way towards the north part of the island. First, we make one brief stop at “Myrtos” Beach for photographs and then we continue our trip to the north, towards “Fiskardo” village.
We arrive to the cosmopolitan port & village of “Fiscardo”. we admire the scenery, have drink to one of the little cafés by the waterfront, take photographs and do some shopping. Then we head towards the village of “Assos”.
We arrive to the small peninsula where “Assos” village is situated. There, we have plenty of time to wander around this picturesque village, admire the old fortress’s ruins located on top of the small hill, have a tasty meal or coffee to the little tavernas & cafes and perhaps even swim in the sparkling aquamarine waters of the pebbly bay.
After, driving-by astonishing landscapes we reach the truly beautiful & mythical “Melissani” lake. Into the cave a small boat takes us for a ride around the lake to admire the stunning colors of the waters.
