2 Days Tour to Delphi & Meteora_inPersonTours_Athens

Athina Trip Overview

Delphi is one of the BEST 5 Archeological sites to visit/see in Greece.
It was considered to be the Centre (navel) of the Ancient world.
Not only Greeks but all neighbouring ”countries” were visiting Delphi to get the Sacred Oracle.
Pythia, the second most famous – after the Olympic – games were held in this sacred area of God Apollo.
The Oracle has been highly respected by all greek Cities (Polis) and has been THE institution of the Greek Unity.
It is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in having had a great influence in the ancient world.

Meteora is simply Unique.
Byzantine monasteries seem to be hovering into the air, as the black high rocks are raising high above the green valley.
The monasteries were built up on these rocks from isolated monks who fled the ottoman empire.
For ages, the only way to get to the monasteries were some simple net-nests that were pulled up by the monks, with the use of a pulley.
The view is amazing.
The experience is uncomparable!!!
