The Ancient Theater of Epidaurus is a unique and marvelous sightseeing experience. It was built in the 4th century BC during the financial rise of the area that emerged thanks to the increasing popularity of the Asklepios’ Sanctuary. The Theatre is an exceptional example of ancient Greek theatres regarding its acoustics and aesthetics. At a maximum capacity of 13,000 to 14,000 spectators, the theatre hosted artistic performances that were included in the worship of Asklepios, the Ancient God of Medicine.
Hydra is a small, picturesque and cosmopolitan island very close to Athens and is reckoned a unique destination preserving its traditions and character.
Cars and motorcycles are not allowed on the island. Horses, mules and donkeys as well as boat-taxis provide public transportation. The island also displayed an important role in the Modern Greek history as it constituted an important operating base during the Greek Revolution against the Othman Empire in the early 19th century.

This 19th century (1880 – 1893) canal, links Saronic to Corinthian bay.
Its length is 6,4 kms and the surface width is 24,6 m.
Crossing of the Canal is not included in the tour.

It’s an amazing, huge theatre. Seats 13 – 14k spectators.
The acoustic is simply unbelivable.

No cars, no roads to rush. Just a cobbled pedestrian path by the seaside. Clear blue waters, cafes and tavernas.
