You will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of truffle-hunting and what it takes to find these elusive gems, by simultaneously enjoying the astonishing beauty of the surroundings and East Crete’s unspoiled wild nature!

Then you will be taken for lunch to a traditional Cretan tavern. There will get acquainted with a custodian, who keeps ancient Cretan cooking recipes. He will share with you his secrets on how to cook ancient Cretan dishes (homemade dishes and Ofto Antikristo) with your own collected truffles, which will be cooked with the highest quality olive oil. Also, you will unwind with local wine tasting in a small family wine cellar.
