Pass By: Corfu Old Town, Agias Sofias 24, Corfu Town Greece
Corfu Town by bicycle: During the tour, we will learn a lot about how Corfu Town was in the past. Anyone with rather good fitness level and basic bicycling skills can join the group, as we will follow a pre-planned route on asphalt terrain. We will see several places of interest e.g. Kanoni/Pontikonisi , Old Fortress, Spianada Square, Liston building complex, Governors Palace, St. Georges arch, Churches, seafront lane of “Mouragia” and the Old Port with the Venetian Gate. An optional +1 hour visit to Mon Repos or Old Fortress can be arranged upon request. Technical support and first aid will be provided by the guide.
Corfu Town on Foot is similar to Corfu Town by bicycle, but this time; the route will drive us directly to the historic town of Corfu. Moving through the narrow cobblestone alleys, we will get an overview of the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. A beverage and a small snack will be offered in both tours in one of the planned stops. Short breaks, upon request.
