Itinerary

Pass By: Krousonas, Krousonas, Crete
We will pass by the historic village of Krousonas on our way towards livadi plateau.
Pass By: Oropédio Nídas, Anogia 740 51, Greece
The plateau of Nida is one of the largest in Crete, located at an altitude of 1400 meters, in the heart of the Psiloritis Range. Here you will enjoy the panoramic views of Nida Plateau as we drive over the plateau.
Stop At: Cave Idaion Antros, Idaean Cave, Nida Ψυχρό, Anogia 740 51, Greece
We will visit the cave in which Zeus was raised.
Once we arrive at the Ideon Andron cave, we will walk towards the cave and se two rail tracks going towards the entrance. We will walk down some stairs into the first large chamber. The rest of the chambers is closed because of excavations. The cave lies at about 1500 meters above sea level. During winter the cave is full of snow.

We will visit the Ruins of ancient Zominthos for around 2.5-3 hours. Zominthos is a small plateau in the northern foothills of Mount Ida, on the island of Crete. Zominthos is roughly 7.5 kilometers west of the village of Anogia.
