Day 1: NEW DELHI

Day 2: NEW DELHI & OLD DELHI

The drive from airport delivers a picture, the hectic and crowded face of the Capital City. It is. Today we will explore the Capital New and Old and visit monuments like the Swami Naryan Temple, Red Fort, Kutub Minar and Humayun Tomb. We will visit Chandini Chowk in Old Delhi and relish lunch at Paratha Gali at a street joint. Time permitting we will add more to the sights and smell of the capital city and then move to the hotel for the night.

Day 3: UDAIPUR

Stop At: Udaipur, Udaipur, Udaipur District, Rajasthan
Post breakfast we board a plane to Udaipur in the Rajasthan State. It is a city of lakes and boasts of an esoteric palace on Lake Pichola. Today we will visit the City Palace Complex nearby and then have dinner in this romantic rendezvous called Lake Palace now turned into a hotel. Other places of interest are the Jag Mandir Palace Complex, Eklingji Temple, Lake Pichola Jagdish Mandir, Bagore Ki Haweli on Ganguar Ghat and Lake Fatehsagar.

Day 4: SIGHTSEEING UDAIPUR

Stop At: Udaipur, Udaipur, Udaipur District, Rajasthan
Jag Mandir Palace Complex is unique with grand display of architectural excellence. It is a group of royal buildings the sections are termed as Mahal, each displays its own style but gels with the structure as whole. Bagore Ki Haveli is a must visit because they were the living quarters of the royals of Udaipur. The massive expanse and impressive architecture in white stone is mesmerizing.

The interiors and assemblage of artifacts some in daily use astounds the visitors. The hundred room structure offers a splendid view of Lake Pichola. We will also visit Jagdish Mandir and Fatehsagar Lake. In between we enjoy the romantic landscapes of the City. We also enjoy the fantastic Marwari cuisine during our stay here. Day 5: KUMBHALGARH FORT

Stop At: Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh 313325 India
Kumbhalgarh is two hours drive from Udaipur. The fort was built by the warrior King Rana Kumbha, it is one of the most charismatic desert fortress which no one should miss visiting. On the way we will visit the Jain temples of Ranakpur and enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Upon reaching Jodhpur we will dock ourselves in the luxury hotel and rest our tired body.

Day 6: JODHPUR

We get up early for breakfast before moving in for some sightseeing at Jodhpur. We will visit Fort, palaces and temples…that is what we have come to see here in the desert country. We will visit experience the majestic Mehrangarh Fort on the hilltop overlooking the town. The ancient edifice houses a number of exhibits and a museum which is worth seeing. One can see the old palanquins, artifacts, paintings armory and the turban gallery.

The Jaswant Thada mausoleum is a grand cenotaph with spread of gardens, lake and carved gazebos. Built using thin sheets of marble it is considered as Taj Mahal of Marwar. The unimaginable stonework is the main feature of the cenotaph.

Day 7: DESERT CITY JODHPUR

Post breakfast we will take a drive around the desert city of Jodhpur. We will nourish the colorful desert life of the Marwari people. The city is a hub of cultural activities and one of the finest places to enjoy Marwari cuisine in Rajasthan.

Day 8: CATTLE FAIR – BRAHMA TEMPLE

For two days we will enjoy the cattle fair, the largest in the World. It is an exotic experience seeing people from all over trade in livestock. Camels, cattle, goats and buffaloes are brought over from a great distance. The hub of activities of local folks will enthrall you all the time. We will also visit Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Then we will drive to Jaipur.

Day 9: CATTLE FAIR – BRAHMA TEMPLE
