Stop At: Humayun’s Tomb, Mathura Road Opp Nizamuddin Mosque, New Delhi 110013 India
It is a magnificent garden tomb. It is the first substantial example of mughal architecture in India. Humanyun’s tomb was designed by a Persian architect. It looks a bit like the “tajmahal”. Humanyun’s tomb was actually the inspiration behind the creation of “Tajmahal”. It is best viewed in late afternoon. Its premises include several small monuments

Stop At: Safdarjung’s Tomb, New Delhi India
It was built in 1754 by Nawab Shujaud Daula. It was built as a mausoleum of Safdarjung in the mughal empire style architecture. It is a beautiful garden tomb. This place is highly recommended for mind-blowing photography. The tomb has a symmetrical structure. It looks like Humanyun’s tomb but it is smaller than that.

Stop At: India Gate, Rajpath Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
India gate is located in rajpath. It is near to Connaught place. The India gate was built in 1931 in memory of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War. You can see the names of martyrs on this imposing monument. Its height is 42 meters. It glows warmly under floodlights at night. Under the arch of India gate there is “the flame of immortal warrior”. The boulevard of India gate is lined by gardens.

It is the official residence of The President of India. This place is just like a central point of New Delhi. It is spread out on raisina hills. It is designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It housed the viceroy during the British rule in India.

It was built by sultan Allaudin khilji in 14th century. This place houses hauz khas (yoyal tank), feroz shah’s tomb, a madrasa and a mosque. This fort has so many square and octagonal shaped chhatris over the tomb. The fort has amazing views of the lake. Many people visit this place to catch the sunset

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India
Qutub Minar is an indo Islamic architecture. Its height is 73 meters. Qutub minar is the tallest brick minaret in the world. It was built in 1193 by Qutub-ud-din aibak (first muslin ruler of Delhi) after the defeat of the last Hindu kingdom of Delhi. Here you can see Quwwat-ul-islam mosque situated at the foot of the tower. Next is the iron pillar (one of the most curious antiques of Delhi) present close to the mosque. It is said that if you can encircle this pillar with your arms standing facing your back to it, your wish will be fulfilled.

Stop At: Sultan Ghari Tomb, Malakapur Village Near Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110002 India
This is the oldest tomb in India. Sultan ghari tomb was built by Iltumish (founder of Delhi sultanate) for his son. Later Feroz shah tughalak renovated it. This tomb stands in the area of an ancient Vedic temple. The walls of this tomb have artistic designs. It is a very beautiful historical place.
