Stop At: Lodhi Garden, Lodhi Rd, New Delhi 110003 India

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in New Delhi and our guide will escort you in an air conditioned vehicle to Lodhi Gardens. The gardens are serene and peaceful.  You may witness people practicing yoga, participating in taekwondo, judo & karate classes and also people enjoying their morning walks.

Not very far from Sikandar Lodhi’s Tomb lies a sixteenth-century bridge called Athpula which was built during Akbar’s reign by Nawab Bahadur. Its present name is ‘Athpula’, derived from the ath (eight) piers that support the arches of the bridge.

You will also visit a structure called Bada Gumbad. Believed to be a gateway not a tomb, the name literally means the building with a big (bada) dome (gumbad). Rising up to approximately 88 feet, this imposing structure is one of the biggest and the finest examples of Lodhi period monuments in Delhi.

At the end of the tour you will be escorted back to your hotel in New Delhi in your air-conditioned vehicle.
