Day 1: Delhi – Chandigarh (250kms/ 5hrs approx)

Stop At: Chandigarh, Chandigarh
Pick up from your hotel or airport and drive to Chandigarh, check in at hotel. Later city tour of Chandigarh the best-planned city in India, with architecture which is world-renowned, and a quality of life, which is unparalleled. The face of modern India Chandigarh is the manifestation of a dream that Le Corbusier executed. Chandigarh is a rare epitome of modernization co-existing with nature’s preservation. These have been planted beautifully carved out lawns and flowers beds.

Day 2: Chandigarh – Shimla (by toy train)

Stop At: Shimla, Shimla, Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel transfer to Kalka railway station to board toy train to Shimla. On arrical at Shimla railway station assistance and transfer to hotel.

Shimla Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts. Rest time free and easy to relax and spend time on The Mall an ideal spot for shopping, besides catering to shops also have a theater and a number of good eating joints.

Day 3: Shimla

Stop At: Shimla, Shimla, Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel. Visit The Ridge a spectacular sight of the ice-covered mountain peaks. Jakhoo Temple situated at the highest peak of Shimla gives a stunning view of the Shimla town. The Rashtrapati Niwas, formerly known as Viceregal Lodge, located on the Observatory Hills, it was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India. Day 4: Shimla

Stop At: Chail, Chail, Kandaghat Tehsil, Solan District, Himachal Pradesh

Chail – known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests. The Chail Palace is well known for its architecture, the palace was built as summer retreat by the Maharaja of Patiala during the British Raj, on the land allotted to him by the British for former’s assistance in the Anglo-Nepalese War. The cricket ground and a polo ground which is there at an altitude of 2,444 m was owned by erstwhile royal family of Patiala. It is the world’s highest cricket ground.

Day 5: Shimla – Mussoorie (260kms / 7hrs approx)

Stop At: Mussoorie, Mussoorie, Dehradun District, Uttarakhand
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Mussoorie check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax and spend the time at The Mall renowned shopping district situated in the heart of Mussoorie. It is dotted with shops, cafes and a host of colonial remnants that point to Mussoorie’s past glories. There are several video game parlours and skating rinks here for travellers to revel in entertainment activities. The Mall also has a Methodist church and the Tibetan market place nearby makes for a diverse cultural mix.

Day 6: Mussoorie

Stop At: Mussoorie, Mussoorie, Dehradun District, Uttarakhand
Breakfast at hotel city tour of Mussoorie. Visit Gun Hill the second highest point of Mussoorie, at an altitude of 2,024 m (6,640 ft). Kempty Falls the curious name of this waterfall is derived from the words ‘camp-tea’, which was popularised by British tea parties here during the colonial era. The falls a popular swimming and fishing destination in Mussoorie. Sir George Everest’s House the building and laboratory of Sir George Everest, the Surveyor-General of India from 1830 to 1843. It is after George Everest that the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest is named. The place provides a view of Doon Valley on one side and a panoramic view of the Aglar River valley and the peaks of the Himalayan ranges on the other. It is a scenic walk from Library Bazaar. Lal Tibba the highest point in Mussoorie and offers a panoramic view of the town and its surroundings. The place is famous for a Japanese telescope which was placed here in 1967. One can view Badrinath, Kedarnath, Banderpunch and other Himalyan ranges from this telescope. Lal Tibba is also called Depot Hill due to the presence of a military depot here in earlier times.
