Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

Admire the monuments of Old Delhi, such as the Mughal mosque Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque) which is the congregational mosque of Old Delhi. Next visit Raj Ghat which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation there is an elementary square platform of black marble, symbolizes the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated followed by his assassination in 1948. A dedicatory ritual takes place each Friday, in his memory.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a Sikh Temple & is one of the most important & Sacred Sikh Shrine visited by thousands of followers and tourists from all over the World. As with all Sikh Gurudwara, the concept of Langer (Community Kitchen) is practised, and all people regardless of race or religion may eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs who work there and also by volunteers who like to help out. At the Gurdwara, visitors are requested to cover their head and not to wear shoes. Anyone can volunteer in the Gurudwara.
