Next visit Raj Ghat which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation there is an elementary square platform of black marble, symbolizes the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated followed by his assassination in 1948. A dedicatory ritual takes place each Friday, in his memory.

An eternal flame burns night and day to commemorate the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting in the India-Pakistan War of 1971.
