Day 1: Arrival in Delhi: Experience the Charm of Old Delhi

The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. In addition to accommodating the emperors and their households, it was the ceremonial and political centre of Mughal government and the setting for events critically impacting the region.

Constructed in 1648 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone.

Stop At: Humayun’s Tomb, Mathura Road Opp Nizamuddin Mosque, New Delhi 110013 India
Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. It was commissioned by Humayun’s son Akbar in 1569-70. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

The Lotus Temple, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. It is notable for its flowerlike shape. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.

The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of slightly over 34 meters and a capacity of 2,500 people. It is known for its outstanding design and architecture.

You will also visit the yummy evening snacks corners of chaats and tikki. Enjoy delicious chicken and mutton kebabs and other delicacies during the evening. How about ending it with sweets (jalebi/gulab jamoon) and kulfis (hand ice creams)?

Day 2: New Delhi to Agra: Experience Taj Mahal During Sunset

Stop At: Mehtab Bagh, Nagla Devjit Etmadpur, Agra India
We will pick you up from the hotel or any other specified place in Delhi
Proceed to Agra (250 KM/ 175 miles/ 4-5 hours)
By the time you would reach Agra, it would be post lunch time. Check-in to the hotel.

Taj Mahal during Sunset: Before sunset, visit the Mehtab Bagh of Agra. This crescent-shaped garden is built along the River Yamuna on the opposite bank of the river Yamuna. Due to its location it is considered to be the ultimate spot for viewing the Taj Mahal during sunset.
Night View of the Taj Mahal: Late in the evening you may return back to Mehtab Bagh to catch the sight of the Taj Mahal. This is one of the most gorgeous sight. With the river Yamuna between the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh, the stunning reflection of the Taj Mahal makes the moment worth dying for. Stay for about 3-40 mins or may be more.
Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Taj Mahal During Sunrise, Agra Fort and Drive to Jaipur

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
Today before breakfast in Agra, you can visit the Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal: It is a Mughal mausoleum of white marble with phenomenal beauty. When it’s relatively quiet and less crowded early in the morning, you should visit this place. Thus, you will experience its ethereal beauty.
After the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and visit the Fort Agra.

The Agra Fort is a massive fort, which was the royal residence of Mughal emperors. This red coloured huge fort is also known as Lal Quila for the red sandstone. The fort is famed for its architectural brilliance.

Stop At: Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), Amber Palace, Amer, Jaipur 302018 India
It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.

Stop At: Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, J.D.A. Market, Pink City, Jaipur 302002 India
This marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. This palace was built for the royal women to get a glimpse of the daily events. Apart from the daily events, they would also watch the royal processions and festivals.

Stop At: Jal Mahal, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 India
Jal Mahal (meaning “Water Palace”) is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. From here you get a picturesque view of the Nahargarh mountain ranges and the surrounding lake waters. You can go for an exciting boating ride on the lake. Indeed, it is a memorable experience.

Stop At: City Palace of Jaipur, Tripolia Bazar Near Jantar Mantar, Jaipur 3023002 India
The Jaipur Palace was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. This was built as a residence for the royal families. The Jaipur palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.
We will drop you to Jaipur airport, from where you will take a flight back to Bangalore.
