At 9 AM or your given time, We will start the tour with the visit to Agrasen ki baoli – One of the medieval era architectural structures of Delhi. Also referred to as Agar Sain Ki Baoli or Ugrasen ki Baoli, this stepwell is an ancient water reservoir which rises from the depths of the earth to stand atop 103 stone steps. Hidden amidst the business towers and residential apartments of central Delhi, this place is a quiet and serene experience perfect for photography lovers. The old brick walls of the structure take you back in history, and as you go down the steps, a drop in temperature can be experienced. The structure occupies a width of 15 metres and is 60 metres long which is quite impressive considering the fact that it is believed to have been built somewhere around the time of Mahabharata. The reservoir still serves its ancient purpose as the lower parts of the baoli can be seen submerged in water on some occasions.

Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib -a Sikh Temple located in the heart of the Capital City – Delhi. It is one of the most important Sacred Sikh Shrine and is visited by thousands of followers and tourists from all over the World. The temple can be recognisable by its golden dome and tall flagpole, The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, a school, and an art gallery. As with all Sikh Gurudwara, the concept of Langer (Comunity Kitchen) is practised, and all people regardless of race or religion may eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs who work there and also by volunteers who like to help out. At the Gurdwara, visitors are requested to cover their head and not to wear shoes. Anyone can volunteer in the Gurudwara.

Lodhi Garden – Spread over 90 acres, Delhi’s loveliest escape was originally named after the wife of the British Resident, thus once known as ‘Lady Willingdon Park’, who had two villages cleared in 1936 in order to landscape a park containing the Lodi-era tombs but was renamed after India gained independence from the British. The contrast of sombre mausoleums against the lush greenery of the gardens makes it a favourite among tourists and locals alike. This garden helps in protecting more than 100 species of trees and 50 species of birds and butterflies. The construction of this great work of architecture took place under the Lodhi reign sometime in the 15th century. The architecture here shows the epitome of magnificent engineering that echoes of Delhi’s illustrious history. Along with being an architectural site, it has also become a hub of morning and evening exercise routine for people living nearby.

Visit the oldest archaeological park in Delhi, which dates back to the 12th Century. The sprawling archaeological area is spread over 200 acres in Mehrauli, which is also known as the only area in Delhi for 1,000 years of continuous occupation, adjacent to Qutub Minar World Heritage site and the Qutub complex. It consists of over 100 historically significant monuments. Overlooked by most of the tourist hordes, this park preserves some of the most historic relics of Delhi. This beautiful park is an absolute pleasure to visit and a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
