Itinerary
While in Jaipur, the best way to learn about the local culture and cuisine of the city is through an immersive experience with a local. And what better way to know more about the city and its people than to enjoy a conversation with a local while breaking bread with them.
Join home-chef Sangeeta at her home in Jaipur for an Indian cooking and dining experience. She will start by giving you an introduction of the local ingredients and spices that are used in their daily cooking. Make yourself comfortable while enjoying a refreshing welcome drink. You can then roll up your sleeves and head to the kitchen where Sangeeta will teach you to make a few Indian dishes like Paneer Pakoda (cottage cheese fritters), Samosas (a typical Indian snack), Kurkure Bhindi (Deep fried Okra) along with Rotis (Indian bread).
Following the cooking session, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious meal with Sangeeta and her family.
The entire experience can last for about 3-4hours.
Note: This is not a professional cooking class but an opportunity to interact with a local family and learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking.
