Once you check out of your hotel in Jaipur, every detail of your transfer to Udaipur will be taken care of. This private transfer facility takes away the stress of arranging your own transport and provides a safe and secure means of transportation. You will be driven to Chittorgarh, which is situated 250 miles from Jaipur, in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

En route, stop at the  historic fort of Chittorgarh that is synonymous with Rajput valor and pride. Situated on top of a hill, you have to go past seven gateways to reach the fort. The huge fort complex has over 65 built structures, among them 4 palaces, 19 Hindu and Jain temples, 4 memorials and 20 functional water bodies. Visit the palace of Queen Padmini, which played an important role in Rajput history. It was here that Alauddin Khilji, the then Sultan of Delhi, spotted Queen Padmini’s reflection in a pool of water and was so taken in by her beauty that he waged a war against the Kingdom of Mewar. Following the defeat of the Maharana, Queen Padmini along with hundreds of Rajput women committed jauhar (mass self-immolation) within the fort complex.

There are several other notable pieces of architecture in the fort – the Tower of Victory, the Tower of Fame, Fateh Prakash Palace, Rattan Singh Palace and the Kumbha Shyam Temple to name a few.

After the tour of the fort, continue your onward journey to Udaipur. Upon reaching Udaipur, you will be dropped at your hotel
