Expore the Arunachala Temple’s huge & massive gopurams built on four sides of the temple , Rajagopuram on East Gateway is 217 feet high with 11 storeys. The base measure 135 feet by 98 feet. This tower was built by King Krishna Devaraya of Vijayanagar. also visit Thousand Pillared Mantapam and the tank opposite to it were also constructed by Krishna Devaraya.

On the Arunagiri hill, somewhere in the midway, a cave is preserved as the sage Ramana Maharshi stayed at this place before the formation of the Ashram, here one can visit New Hall, Sri Maharshi’s Samadhi, Matrubhuteswara Temple, Old Hall, Dining Hall, Gosala, Book Store, Sri Ramana Library, and Virupaksha Cave. This is a popular place for silent meditation and experience the spiritual life.
