Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. The construction took 10 years and was constructed in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.

.Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad opened its doors to the public in 1963. The Park is renowned for its natural landscape that provides habitat-simulated enclosures for the birds, animals and reptiles that call the Park their home. Spread over an area of 380 acres of land, Nehru Zoological Park is a refuge for many endangered and critically endangered species of wildlife.

Hussain Sagar Lake is one of the largest manmade lakes situated at the confluence of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Begumpet. It is a sprawling artificial lake that holds water perennially. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The lake was built in the year 1575 by Sultan Ibrahim Kutb Shah at a cost of about Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

It was once a city of diamond trade and hence some brilliant gems like the koh-i-Noor and the Darya-i-Noor were excavated from the mines around Golkonda.

Salar Jung Museum of Hyderabad is the third largest museum in India located on the southern bank of the river Musi, Salar Jung Museum is popularly known for its one of largest one-man collections of the world. The museum is one of the Hyderabad sightseeing places that must be visited. What makes this Salar Jung Museum all the more special is its location. It is located quite close to the other tourist spots of Hyderabad such as Charminar, Mecca Masjid.

The Charminar monument which is an internationally recognized icon in the center of Hyderabad. With its minarets and domes, it showcases typical Islamic design. In one corner sits a beautiful mosque where mass prayers take place on Fridays. Tourists rarely leave the city without taking a trip to Charminar and the surrounding markets, which are filled with food and jewelry. The monument was built in 1591 to celebrate the end of a plague epidemic in Hyderabad.

Mecca Masjid located in the historical district of Hyderabad Mecca Masjid is the second largest mosque in India and one of the largest in the world. Several bricks embedded in the central arch are made with soil from Mecca hence the name Mecca Masjid
