Change into Tridatu or Poleng sarongs (Tridatu = red, white and black colors or Poleng = black and white colors). These colors represent Tri Murti, the god trinity concept as one of the very basic believe of Hinduism in Bali. Red represents Brahma, the creator, black for Wisnu, the preserver and white represent Ciwa as the destroyer.

Located in the middle of rice field along the riverside, accompanied by the referee, you will start to introduce some basic technique of Mepantigan and then jump into the muddy field. The referee will perform the preliminary demonstration before you try yourself. Through Mepantigan the practitioners will not gain only the physical fitness, but it will help us to release stress, and learn valuable lessons of comradeship and sportsmanship, because Mepantigan emphasizes emotional and spiritual intelligence. He also believes that Mepantigan can develop characteristic and avoid violence while cultivating compassion.

One game is played in two rounds, punching, biting, kicking or hitting is forbidden. At the end of the game, clean yourself in the river and then scrubbing with rice and saffron combine with various spices. Completed by showering poured out of bamboo pipe.
