Unfortunately, the progressive depopulation of the area has led to a slow abandonment of the citadel: only in the last 40 years, with the renewed interest of some religious, the Abbey – which today has the appearance of a ruin – has been rehabilitated to become the reference point for those in need of peace and spirituality.
