Crossing via San Gregorio Armeno, famous for shepherds and cribs, you will arrive at the magnificent Federico II University, commissioned by the Teutonic Swabian Emperor Federico II, the oldest secular and public university in the world. Our journey will come as a final stop in the splendid Piazza Mercato, a place of historical facts and popular legends, a place of revolutions and death sentences and we will have the opportunity to visit the oldest Gothic church in the city: S. Eligio.
