The Archiginnasio Palace is the former location of the University of Bologna, the oldest in the western world. There we will have the chance to visit the Anatomy theatre, where autopsies were carried out. (admission fee € 3 per person)

The Quadrilatero is the old food district, full of colors and flavors. There we will have some food sampling. We will stop in a typical “drogheria”, where it will serve tastings of local food such as Parmigiano Reggiano with a few drops of aged balsamic vinegar (sublime!), Mortadella and Salami. If you like sweets you can’t miss a tortellino made entirely of chocolate or other typical specialties. (about € 20 per person for large tastings)
