Buttrio Trip Overview
The tour will start in the company garden and then continue walking next to our Refosco vineyards. From the Peduncolo Rosso on the plain, we will then enter the cellar (where ‘magic’ takes place) and finally we will go to the ‘fogolar friulano’ area. You will have the opportunity to look and understand the oenologist’s work and discover all its secrets. During the tasting we will combine ad-hoc dishes and understand the importance of the balance between wine and food.

What to Expect When Visiting Buttrio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy

Itinerary
Inside the company garden we will welcome you with a warm welcome that will continue with some historical mention of the company. Later we will travel the road of the vintage wagon up to the area of reception of grapes outside the cellar. We will tell you the first parts of the winemaking process and then continue the walk inside the cellar. We will show you various types of wine vessels and their peculiarities; we will continue the tour in the storage area and there will be a little surprise waiting for you. At this point we will be ready to face the tasting in the suggestive ‘fogolar friulano’. You will sit down around a rustic wooden table where in front of you there will be tasting glasses that will be filled one after the other with wines of our production and full of character. We will therefore tell you about the peculiarities of every single wine tasted and together we will discover the most appropriate food and wine combinations so that we can reproduce a piece of Friuli even when you are at home. There will also be an opportunity to buy the wines that you liked the most!
