This is now open to the public as the Vatican Gardens. For centuries reserved for the exclusive use of the Supreme Pontiffs as a place of peace, the Vatican Gardens are an enchanting natural, architectural and artistic space where you can enjoy a relaxing walk admiring the beauty of nature with its gardens, parks, orchards and various medieval fortifications, Renaissance and Baroque buildings and monuments.
