You’ll pass the masses waiting for tickets and enjoy skip-the-line access to the Colosseum through a privilaged entrance. Once inside the ancient stadium, you’ll visit the first and second levels while our enthusiastic guide provides fun, interesting, and relevant information. The Colosseum could host 70,000 Romans in ancient times, all who gathered there to watch blood sports. Exotic animal hunts, beheadings, and Gladiator battles were just among a few of the deadly games held here, and your guide will explain every violent detail.

The crazed emperor Nero built his first palace on top of the Imerial heart of Rome: Palatine Hill. However a deviating fire made him abandoned the palace and build a new one on top. The result was his original palace was forgotten and sealed shut for 1,400 years! The Domus Transitoria is Nero’s forgotten palace and only made open to the public since April of 2019. You’ll be provided Virtual Reality goggles to reimagine how this palace would have looked in its height, and also visit the connecting underground dungeons (with a stop at the servants toilets!)

You’ll walk in the footsteps of Rome’s most brilliant and also psychotic Emperors as we discover Cesar’s Palace, officially called Palatine Hill. Palatine Hill is where Rome was founded nearly 3,000 years ago, and hosts structures dating from B.C. times, through the Renaissance, and most recently buildings built by Benito Mussolini.

The Roman Empire stretched from Iraq to Scotland, and the Roman Forum is where the decisions to control all of their territory took place. The Forum is the epicenter of the ancient world, and along with your licensed guide you’ll visit the most important pagan temples and tombs, the house of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate house, and Julius Cesare’s tomb.
