This is real Rome, everyday, naked and raw. We will pass through testaccio, the Garbatella, Tor Marancia and the Caffarella Park, to then reach Tor Pignattara and finally Pigneto. This neighborhood is the new center of gravity of the Roman nightlife, it has been the set of many films of our neorealism and is a fundamental place for street art in Rome. Here, at the end of our tour, we will enjoy an excellent aperitif on the lively pedestrian area. During the journey we will also stop at the Testaccio market to taste some of the street food that accompanies the Romans every day.

The tour starts off from the hotel and back.It has a duration of 3 hours On this very special tour in the neighborhoods of Rome , you will experience the Eternal City from a different perspective .

You will be taken to seven neighborhoods to see where the Romans work , live and play. These areas are not usually visited on normal tour you get a chance to visit them. This will allow you to experience the true spirit of a Roman. Naturally we will pass through the heart of Ancient Rome  during the tour , the driver will share some anecdotes of the local people and their lifestyles.

Garbatella is a neighborhood with unique architecture in the world: born as a popular suburb in the 1920s, over the decades it has been able to maintain its authentic and combative soul while becoming, at the same time, a young and vital place.
The style of the palaces (built in the so-called Roman baroque style), the courtyards that suddenly open when least expected), the narrow streets full of greenery, the urban vegetable gardens, the small cafés in the squares, the plaques to the partisans, the catacombs: all these elements contribute to making it one of the still authentic places in Rome.
During the guided tour, which I customize according to people's needs/requests, I will talk about the origins of Garbatella and its history, we will visit the most important buildings, the urban vegetable gardens, the historical cultural circles to arrive at the Casetta Rossa, home to a social/cultural association where, whoever wishes, can conclude the tour with a coffee/glass of wine.

Garbatella is a unique neighborhood in the world. Born as a housing district for the workers who would build the factories of the nascent Ostiense industrial district, it was conceived in an innovative way: condominiums (called "plots") consisting of 2 or 3-storey houses in neo-baroque style with shared gardens in which the inhabitants could socialize. Over the years the type of houses and their function changed but the charm of the district has remained intact and still today it seems a city apart from the city
