Rome Trip Overview

Are you spending your holiday in Rome, but you really desire to visit Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast? This is the perfect tour to make that wish come true!
Departing from Rome, our driver will accompany you to the hotel we have booked for you. Once in Naples you will have free time to do the check in the hotel, to have lunch and to take some picture.
In the afternoon of the first day you will meet the guide who will accompany you in the real heart of Naples, full of the artistic influences left by the different domination suffered by the city after the Greek and Roman ages. You will have also the chance to taste different typical dishes.
In the second day of your tour, you will depart from Naples to reach the Pompeii Archaeological Park where you will meet an official local guide who will accompany you during the visit inside the Pompeii ruins. At the end of your tour you will spend a couple of hour in the Amalfi coast before returning to Rome.

Day 1: Rome – Naples

It is named after the plebiscite taken on October 2, 1860 that brought Naples into the unified Kingdom of Italy under the House of Savoy. It is located very closely to the gulf of Naples, and bounded on the east by the Royal Palace and on the west by the church of San Francesco di Paola with colonnades extending to both sides. Other surrounding buildings include the Palazzo Salerno and, its mirror, the Prefecture Palace (on the left arm of the church).

Day 2: Naples- Pompeii and Amalfi coast

Departing from Naples you will reach Pompeii where you will visit the Pompeii Archaeological Park with a local official guide.
Pompeii (/pɒmˈpeɪi/) was an ancient Roman city near modern Naples in the Campania region of Italy, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area (e.g. at Boscoreale, Stabiae), was buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Many of the inhabitants were also buried before they could escape.

After Pompei, our driver will accompany you through the Amalfi coast.
The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination for the region and Italy as a whole, attracting thousands of tourists annually.
In 1997, the Amalfi Coast was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Amalfi, the town that gives its name to the coast, was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. At the center of the main square there is the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew.

Positano is one of the most famous towns of Costiera Amalfitana. It’s a well-known holiday destination with a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes. You can admire colorful houses painted shades of pink, white, and yellow and Medieval Saracen towers that dot the coastline, used to guard the town from invaders from the sea.
