Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park, Porta Marina (via Villa dei Misteri), 80045 Pompeii Italy
A welcoming english-speaking driver will meet you at you accomodation. Then you start travelling South. In 2 hours 35 minutes you reac the ancient town of Pompeii. Once there, you will be met by a local licensed guide, who will lead the walking tour. Largely preserved under the ash, the excavated city offers a unique snapshot of Roman life, frozen at the moment it was buried and providing an extraordinarily detailed insight into the everyday life of its inhabitants. Organic remains, including wooden objects and human bodies, were entombed in the ash and decayed away, making natural molds; and excavators used these to make plaster casts, unique and often gruesome figures from the last minutes of the catastrophe.
All of this and much more you will learn about the Romans. At the end of the walking tour, you go back to Rome. The drive rwill drop you off at your accomodation.

As soon as you reach the town of Naples, you will realized this is a unique place, where people are immersed in their own world with a charcteristic atmosphere. You feel immediately intimated
with the place and its real soul which beats around the city’s traditional districts. You will admire the worldwide elegant area of Posillipo, which has enduring appeal, not least for its beautiful homes, which include picturesque palaces and villas that perch romantically on hillside promontories. The driver takes a ride around the higlights of the town, until you will reach the seafront section, one of the most loved and frequented places by citizens and tourists and constantly animated by events of all kinds but also by the numerous bars, restaurants and pizzerias that follow one another along the entire route, where you can have your lunch or just an aperitif. Eventually you go back to Rome and the driver will drop you off at your accomodation in Rome.
