Stop At: Frascati, Frascati, Province of Rome, Lazio
You will meet the english-peaking driver at your location. Then from there you will be taken to the Roman Castles. You start your day at this beautiful vinery where you can sample some popular local wines. You will learn quite much about wine process and about the wine production of the area.

Stop At: Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo, 00040 Castel Gandolfo Italy
After having the wine tasting, you will go to Castel Gandolfo; this quaint town is small but attractive, with narrow streets and pretty piazzas that offer glimpses across the lake and countryside, and provide the perfect respite from the bustling ambience of Rome. The main square, Piazza della Liberta, is dotted with cafés and shops selling souvenirs and local products, and there are several restaurants with panoramic balconies affording spectacular views. Take a trip to the parish church of San Tommaso di Villanova, which was designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini under the order of Pope Alexander the VII, and which also contains a celebrated painting of the crucifixion by the painter Pietro da Cortona. Popes moved here their summer venue, because the place offers a peaceful and nice location. You can alnso decide to get a visit inside the Pope’s summer residence (own expenses).

This is last destination of the trip: Ariccia. The town is pretty and enjoyable in a pretty setting, surrounding by green hills. There are narrow lanes, avenues and piazzas with shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
The town of Ariccia is so famous for its porchetta, the two practically go hand-in-hand.Once in Ariccia, you seat down at the famous ‘fraschetta’ and enjoy sampling some porchetta.The name ‘fraschetta’ derives from the term ‘frasca’ with which, in medieval times, the huts of branches and leaves built by lumberjacks as makeshift shelters were indicated, where travellers could stop and have good wines and food. So, be prepared to have a fantastic experience being at one of fraschetta at Ariccia!
