In the picturesque landscape of Tivoli, the Roman Emperor Hadrian requested the construction of his rural retreat to relax and get away from the chaotic Roman lifestyle. He actually ruled the Empire from this Villa. The archeological complex was built on an area of 80 hectares. Have fun exploring it with our family-friendly tour guide. It has several very well preserved buildings, including bathhouses due to the presence of sulphur springs in the area, and a museum filled with ancient roman artifacts which kids will absolutely love. Give them an opportunity to learn about Ancient Roman history in an enjoyable yet informative way.

The villa commissioned by the Cardinal d’Este from the Borgia family is one of the finest residences in Italy. They are incredible masterpieces of engineering that have been imitated in many gardens throughout Europe.
