8.00 Departure from your accommodation from Rome with a luxury car and with our English-Spanish speaking driver to Tivoli. The ancient Latin city named Tibur, boasts an origin and a millenary history much more archaic than Rome (1215 BC) as evidenced by the Sanctuary of Ercole Vincitore, a sacred structure dating back to the 2nd century BC Currently the image of this city is linked to its three magnificent villas that decorate it everywhere: Villa Adriana, Villa d’Este and the Villa Gregoriana landscape, a splendid and fascinating natural park in the countryside, where it is possible to enjoy a delicious lunch ( not included) in a historic and typical restaurant of the place.

Villa d’Este was built during the Renaissance in the sixteenth century, it is a true masterpiece of the Italian garden, immense and extraordinary in the landscape, artistic and historical context of the city of Tivoli, with numerous fountains, caves, nymphaeums, water features and music plumbing that leaves its visitors speechless, the territory is full of ravines, caves and waterfalls. These imposing buildings and terraces above the terraces make us think of one of the wonders of the ancient world, the “Gardens of Babylon” while the water supply, with an aqueduct and a tunnel under the city, recalls the engineering wisdom of the ancient Romans.
Villa D’Este is closed every Monday morning and opens at 14.00
