The International Accordion Museum has founded in 1981 thanks to the RAI “Portobello” broadcast which procures the first 35 accordions for the opening. Now there are more than 200 instruments on display including accordions, bandoneons, harmoniums, and musical boxes, which tell the story of the Italian accordion industry and its protagonists. The museum location, in the seventeenth-century basement of the Town Hall, it’s timeless.
