From the magical and unrepeatable combination of a unique land and a passion for wine making, the Francone Winery was born with its roots in Neive, the UNESCO heritage area in the hills of the Langhe, just a short walk from Barbaresco in the province of Cuneo.
The passion and the will to improve every year push us to select each vine and to separate each vineyard according to the attitude of the soil.
This is how a wide but “tailor-made” range of wines is created with labels offered in limited quantities. The cornerstones of this philosophy are two: on the one hand, respect for the vineyards, such as those on the Gallina hill cultivated according to the canons of integrated agriculture; on the other, the vinification and aging of wines with techniques that respect the raw material (fermentation with a long pause on the skins) and its naturalness (some wines are bottled with a sulphite content 60% lower than the permitted limit).
