Day 1: Turi – The farm
Pass By: Turi, Turi, Province of Bari, Puglia
Arriving at Bari (or Brindisi) airport, you will head to the Hotel Relais “Antica Masseria” (or similar), where you will be greeted with a welcome drink.
In the evening, a tasty dinner awaits you at the farm, prepared with selected seasonal products and with care from the past.

Day 2: Alberobello – The magic of the trulli
Stop At: Alberobello, Alberobello, Province of Bari, Puglia
After breakfast in the masseria you will leave for Alberobello. Here a local certified guide will accompany you to discover this extraordinary city, characterized by ancient conical houses of dry stone, the trulli, considered UNESCO heritage. You will be surrounded by handicraft and local gift shops and weaving shops, by characteristic inns where you will taste traditional products.
In the afternoon you will leave for Locorotondo, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, perched on a hill with its white houses that reflect the light of the Apulian sun. All around the town the vineyards extend as far as the eye can see and it is precisely in these fertile countryside that the precious wine of the same name is born. In this breathtaking setting, you will experience a sublime tasting experience: an aperitif based on wine and local dishes, directly in the terraced vineyard overlooking the Itria Valley, placed on hay bales.

Day 3: Bari – The pilgrim
Stop At: Bari, Bari, Province of Bari, Puglia
Breakfast in the masseria will set you up to drive you to Bari. In front of the majestic Swabian Castle an expert guide in the clothes of a 13th century Nicolaian pilgrim will be waiting for you, ready to talk to you about the history of the city. You will relive a real journey through time, in an unusual medieval Bari, between tales and legends.
Lunch is free.
In the afternoon you can stroll through the shopping streets of the Apulian capital, in the Murattiano district, and enjoy the splendid landscape of the seafront.
In the evening, return to the Hotel Relais “Antica Masseria” (or similar), where you will be pampered by a mouth-watering dinner.

Day 4: Polignano – The sea caves
Stop At: Polignano a Mare, Polignano a Mare, Province of Bari, Puglia
Last breakfast at the Hotel Relais “Antica Masseria” and transfer to the second host structure during this trip in the evening.
In the morning you will reach Polignano a Mare and live the magnificent experience of a boat tour to discover the sea caves. A crystalline sea and the rock embroidered with impressive cavities, carved by the sea, are the hallmarks of Polignano a Mare, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”.
Afterwards, an aperitif based on traditional Apulian specialties awaits you at a typical restaurant.
You will reach the “Masseria Bosco” or similar for the overnight stay. You will be welcomed with a tasting of home-grown wine and traditional products.

Day 5: Cursi – The oil mill
Stop At: Cursi, Cursi, Province of Lecce, Puglia
After breakfast at the farm, you will leave for Cursi for a journey into the womb of the earth, inside an ancient underground oil mill entirely excavated by hand and dating back to 1600, well preserved and the first case of innovative technological restoration. You will immerse yourself in the hypogeal atmosphere, illuminated only by oil lanterns recovered on site and reproduced according to the ancient rule of art, you will wear VR viewers to live an “immersive” experience.
A special cultural moment, in which technology rejoins the history of our land and restores the taste of sacrifice and hard work at the base of the most important Salento economic activity of the past, the production and trade of lampante oil.
A tasting in the garden will follow, based on typical Salento products and excellent local wine.
The morning will end with a pleasant walk in the nearby Lecce stone quarry

Day 6: Otranto – Bike tour
Stop At: Otranto, Otranto, Province of Lecce, Puglia
After breakfast in the masseria, your destination of the day is Otranto. Starting from Porta Alfonsina, one of the oldest gates in the city, you will experience a guided bike tour to discover the Otrantino hinterland, the best preserved part of Salento.
Going up the Idro valley, you will visit an ancient Byzantine crypt, and then stop at the “le Costantine” Foundation where the art of traditional weaving is practiced. You will then cross the “megalithic garden” of Giurdignano, dotted with dolmens and menhirs.
At lunch you will taste local products at one of the best bakeries in the province in Specchia Gallone.
In the early afternoon you will reach Porto Badisco, with its cleared and calm bay. After swimming (if time permits), you will return to Otranto, along one of the most beautiful stretches of the coast, with a visit to the Punta Palascìa lighthouse and the bauxite lake.
After returning to the “Masseria Bosco” (or similar), you will have dinner in a farmhouse in the area.

Day 7: Lecce – The Baroque
Stop At: Lecce, Lecce, Province of Lecce, Puglia
The day will begin with a hearty breakfast in the farm, which will be followed by a visit to Lecce, the “Florence of the South”. A certified guide will be waiting for you who will tell you about the wonders and luster of the Baroque. Here you can admire Piazza Sant’Oronzo, considered the living room of Lecce, with the Roman Amphitheater and the harmonious Palazzetto del Sedile, and then the many churches including the Basilica of Santa Croce.
This will be followed by a tasting of pasticciotto and Lecce coffee, mixed with almond syrup, at an old pastry shop in the historic center.
Upon returning to the “Masseria Bosco” (or similar) you will have dinner and enjoy a splendid performance of Salento pizzica.
