Arrival at Acaya, the “ideal city”. Here with the tour guide you will discover the ancient history of this village and all the wonderful monuments that have come down to our days. You will start from the Porta Terra, and then proceed in the direction of the sixteenth century castle and the city walls. You can admire the church of Santa Maria della Neve, the ruins of the Monastery of the Friars Minor and the church of San Paolo. Departure for Borgagne

Stop At: Borgagne, Borgagne, Melendugno, Province of Lecce, Puglia
Arrival in Borgagne and guided tour. Borgagne is a village suspended in time because it preserves buildings and monuments that give it an ancient charm. Strolling you will be able to appreciate and admire the Mother Church, the tower-houses, sixteenth-century buildings that had residential and defensive functions of the inhabited area together with the castle. You will be able to descend into the semi-hypogeum “sciurti” crusher to find out how oil was produced, a very important element of Salento agriculture. Finally you will arrive at the Petraroli castle that once stood on the edge of Borgagne with the aim of defending the town from the dangers coming from the sea.
