You will meet the tour guide next to the Svevo Castle and you will begin the visit discovering from the outside this fortress on the sea built in 1233 by Federico II. You will continue towards the beautiful cathedral on the sea built in the Apulian Romanesque style starting from 1099. The cathedral has decorations and curious details, such as the animals on the façade that the guide will show you and its bell tower almost 60 meters high makes it so majestic.
Then you will continue towards the alleys of the oldest center to visit the Jewish quarter “la giudecca”, where there are ancient stone houses and a synagogue from the 12th century. The visit will end in the characteristic port, but first you will taste the typical products of this part of Puglia: the taralli, the extra virgin olive oil, the sweet wine “moscato di Trani” and the bread with fish.
