Manto della Madonna, Porto della Madonna or Piscine di Budelli these are the best known names with which the wonderful portion of the sea is called, a body of water that laps the coast of the Island of Budelli, one of the most beautiful in the Archipelago The name derives from the incredible transparency and intensity of the blue water of this stretch of sea, a real uncontaminated natural pool, with a shallow and transparent bottom, located near the Cecca di Morto canal (refuge of the Morto) which separates Budelli from the islands of Santa Maria and Razzoli.
The Manto della Madonna overlooks the islets Carpa, Paduleddi and Stramanari and has a pond behind it surrounded by reeds, where you can devote yourself to bird watching.
A short distance from the Manto della Madonna are the Cavaliere beach and the Rosa beach, one of the most famous in Sardinia, characterized by pink sand rich in fragments of shells and coral.

In the shallows of Cala Corsara lies the wreck of Spargi, a Roman cargo ship (35 meters long) from the 2nd century BC: part of its cargo, found in 1939, is exhibited in the Nino Lamboglia della Maddalena museum.
