FI Trip Overview
We are in the heart of Famous and traditional Chianti hills with breathtaking views. We are only 18 km from Florence, Fattoria Lavacchio, practice Organic and Biodinamic agriculture in whole estate.
Visiting our vineyards, you will learn about how we care for the grapes as well as our experience as organic and low-sulfite and sulfite-free wine producers. We will also tell you about the history of the Estate, which dates back to before the 1700s and boasts a link to the Strozzi family. Then you will explore our ancient cellars and discover the special requirements and techniques of creating what has been called our “perfect organic” wines.
The tour culminates with a tasting of 4 of our own organic wines and a platter of local cheeses and our own cured meats and home-baked breads.

Stop At: Fattoria Lavacchio, Via di Montefiesole, 52, 50065 Pontassieve FI, Italy
Visit our organic farm where we pick vegetable and fruits every morning.
Then your will visit in our vinyard of traditional Sangiovese viriety.
After that we will show you our wine aging seler, talk about our organic wine making process.
