Firenze Trip Overview

We will discover the beauty and magic of Renaissance art in Florence with artists such as Masaccio and Filippo Lippi. We will continue with Botticelli’s fairytale characters in his masterpieces such as The Birth of Venus and his Springtime. We will visit the rooms dedicated to three great Masters such as: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and the refined Raphael. We will be amazed by the Venetian colors of Titian and the use of light in Caravaggio’s works.
We will learn how to recognize the subjects in the paintings, what they did and how they are represented. We will see angels with beautiful colored wings, saints with haloes and golden clothes and mythological characters such as Zephyr and Venus.
