What to Expect When Visiting Montalcino, Toscana, Italy
The chance to see the unique landscape of the Val d’Orcia and make a visit to a historic winery that has been producing Brunello di Montalcino for 26 generations. Panorama and unmissable flavors
A fantastic hike through the rows of Montalcino vineyards.
The ring route and about 6 km will allow us to walk with a splendid panorama typical of the Val d’Orcia. Among vineyards and ancient olive trees we will talk about the history of Montalcino and its Brunello or through the most beautiful and well-known farms.
At the end of the excursion you can choose between a tasting of fine wines in a historic cellar or a light lunch with tastings of local cheeses and meats, or a complete lunch all accompanied by a tasting of wines plus a visit to the cellar.
The excursion requires a moderate training that can allow hikers to walk long stretches uphill.
