Your walking experience starts from Piazza dei Miracoli and your guide will introduce you to the history of Pisa and its characters. Together we will wander around the square to contemplate the gorgeous monuments and learn about the fascinating historic facts that have taken place over the centuries. The Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and above all the Leaning Tower will amaze you with their elegant architecture and will be the perfect setting for your snapshots.

The tour continues up to the top of the medieval walls that we will climb to have the opportunity to look out over the square from a privileged angle. A pleasant stroll will lead us to uncover the north section and admire the centre from above, then come down and explore the medieval district.

In a few steps we will arrive at the spectacular Piazza dei Cavalieri which literally amazes for its beauty and elegance and for the stories and anecdotes that lie behind its history. Dante in the Inferno of the Divine Comedy tells of Count Ugolino who died of hunger with his children in the tower located right in this square. You will also admire the majestic Renaissance palace which hosts the “Normale” University.
