Private Family tour in Murano with glass factory visit

Venezia Trip Overview

The islands of Venice are a world apart, where time seems to stand still and the stress of everyday life gives way to light-heartedness and relaxation. If you do not want to miss the best of Murano and Burano, do not be discouraged by the difficulty in deciphering the vaporetto timetables (your guide will do it for you …), and let yourself be guided between nature and architecture, transparent glass and colored houses, delicate lace and tasty biscuits!
On this tour to discover the secrets of glass, we will venture through the streets of “little Venice”, Murano. Here the history of Venetian glass began in the distant 1291, and continues today, using the same ingredients: sand, calcium carbonate and soda. Do not miss the demonstration of a true master glassmaker at work in his furnace: you will be delighted by the processing of blown glass.

A little tip: on the journey to Murano, we will be able to stop on the island of the monumental cemetery of San Michele. You will not regret it!
