The Bridge of Sighs is a bridge in Venice, Italy. The enclosed bridge is made of white limestone, has windows with stone bars, passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge’s Palace.

You admire the Salute Church commemorating the end of the Black Plague, pass by the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and leave the Canal Grande to enter the calm minor canals. Both venues are located outside of the city center itineraries and even more enjoyable to see from the water.the tour continues going on the Grand Canal and passing under the famous Rialto Bridge. On the left side, you will see the lively Rialto Market, where Venetians and tourists can buy fruits, veggies, and seafood from the Adriatic sea. the tour ends back to the original departure point.
