Piazza Bra, located between the Roman and medieval walls, once used as a livestock market, is surrounded by important buildings built starting from the Renaissance period. In Piazza Bra you can admire the Roman amphitheater, called Arena, and the palaces, the Gran Guardia and the Nuova Gran Guardia, symbols of foreign governments, which dominated the city for about 5 centuries.
