Drive through the 33-kilometer mountain road between Shirakawago Village in Gifu and Shirakawa City in Ishikawa. A large waterfall called Fukube falls is a signature stop, falling from a drop of 86m up. Please understand this road is closed during winter (from early November to early June). Another tollroad is available.

Shirakawa Village is located in the northwest of Gifu. The village is famous for its distinctive and ancient forms of Japanese architecture.
