Beppu Trip Overview
This cycling tour is designed for an experience of enjoying the best views and sightseeing points in Beppu. The descending cycling starts from 500 meters above the sea level down to the coastline. You would be very impressed with the wonderful mountains and ocean scenery.
The tour will start from the best scenic location.
The first half tour will be cycling down from the beautiful mountains.
Enjoy sightseeing such as “JigokuMeguri” by the way.
The second half tour will be cycling along the beautiful coast beach.
Free Onsen spa is available at the terminal hotel.
The first half course is a easy part because of downhill biking from beautiful mountains. The first sightseeing place is “MyobanOnsen”, much Onsen steams come out from hot springs.
The second half course is a beautiful coastline cycling.
Organizer will arrange and manage bikes to the starting point. We require that the participants should be at least 155 cm tall and be able to freely ride a bicycle.

The bike to rent is a mountain bike DAHON’s Espresso D24.
It is a very easy to ride.
The starting point is 500 meters above sea level, but we will deliver the bike to that position. Most of the course is downhill, so participants can easily enjoy cycling. Those who are not confident in their physical strength are OK. (For those who are more than 155 cm tall and can ride a bicycle well.)
The course proposes a route that allows you to enjoy the most beautiful scenery of the mountains and the sea in Beppu, which we have designed.
Participants will be provided with an original map made by us.
The finishing point Nogamihonkan is located in the center of Beppu city.
Participants in this program can enjoy the hot springs of NogamiHonkan free of charge.
The bicycle can be returned by 21:00 at night, so it can be used for a full day sightseeing tour of Beppu besides the course.
