Itinerary
This pottering tour takes you from Tokushima to Kagawa, home of Sanuki udon, visiting several udon restaurants. Tsubojiri Station, located on the border between Tokushima and Kagawa, is a known to the locals as a cool spot.
When we enter Kagawa Prefecture, we pass through idyllic countryside, including the Manno Lake cycling course, and when you’re getting hungry, we go to the first Sanuki udon restaurant.
After your first round of udon, we cycle to Kotohira, where we visit Konpira Shrine. On the way, we stop by the second Sanuki udon restaurant for comparison.
Then we cycle from Kotohira to the Zentsu-ji Temple, No. 75 on the Shikoku Pilgrimage and childhood home of Kukai.
