With this workshop, you learn the authentic way of samurai sword handling and 1 technique and the shuriken (ninja star) throwing at the Musashi Clan Dojo.
Our clan is the only existing ninja clan whose ancestors served the Tokugawa Shogunate for 265 years. and then in 1868 they became independent so they could continue to keep their identity as shinobi.
This is a crash course for the people who have only limited time to experience the shinobi-samurai culture of our family.

The purpose of the training is to introduce the concepts of Shinshin Ichiyo (Body Mind Integration) and Fudoshin (unshakable heart) – in which the mind is not caught by any desire.
Though we can understand our goal intuitively, we cannot move our bodies properly without practicing technique.
In this case, the technique means knowing the five basic stances and other methods of practice.
A sword shows its true worth in the threshold of life and death. The single sword brandish of shinshin ichinyo (Body Mind Inteftration) should be released from a state of being free from worldly thoughts. This state of mind gives you the power to block out everything except the task at hand by using a sense of extreme calm and enhanced concentration.
Though short, we hope the training will give you a deeper insight into our ninja samurai culture
